About Sugar Bombe Bakery

We are a San Francisco bakery now operating out of a ghost kitchen & serving a variety of baked goods since Oct 2021.
I started this business because I was a culinary school student pursuing a career as a pastry chef when COVID-19 impacted my class. My school was not open for in person so I decided to drop out a few months in as I felt like I wasn't getting what I needed out of it. I developed a lot of health issues shortly afterwards & i’ve always used baking to take my mind off things & to test my creativity. Since I was no longer in school, I was determined to teach myself all sorts of baking techniques and distract myself from everything going on in the world & in my life. Finding a job was not easy as I had very little work experience, I applied to over 50 places with only a few interviews & was let go after 2 weeks at my first job. The idea of starting my own bakery came to mind, I ignored it but it kept coming to mind, it felt like this was my only hope for making a future for myself. I had always thought about opening up a pop up bakery but told myself that I would only do it until I was well trained and knew exactly what I was doing. The pandemic made me step out of my comfort zone & I decided to make my dream happen. After a lot of trial and error, I have perfected my recipes. I'm hoping that everyone who gets to try my baked goods feels the love and passion I pour into making them.
